on September 19, 2015 there was a fly in of Oklahoma Pilots Association members.
They were afforded a tour of the Waynoka Air and Rail Museum, and a trip to the site of the former TAT hangar and runway.
Airport board members were on hand to welcome 5 aircraft and the pilots and passengers.
We had a great time & learned a lot. Looking forward to returning to Waynoka sometime.
We thank you and all the Waynoka pilots for your hospitality to our OPA er’s this past Saturday! We all had a wonderful time and lunch.
And the Harvey House Museum was so well done and informative. Could have spent much more time there, Loved all the trains passing by! But we’ll just have to fly back some time!
Thanks again,
Sonie and Al Liebler and OPA flyers
Thank you so much for all you & your group did for us last Saturday! Your hospitality made it one of the best flyaways we’ve had in a while! I put a link to your airport website on our FlyAway page which has a few of the photos from the event. I’ll post your press release when I get a little more time.
We had a great time & learned a lot. Looking forward to returning to Waynoka sometime.
